How To Train Your Mind For Success

I keep seeing different courses and systems coming out every day in the internet marketing world. Each one of them promising that you’ll make a million overnight. Every dream will be fulfilled, pictures of expensive cars, mansions, exotic places and screen shots of huge deposits being made into thir accounts seems to be very common.

But, one of the things you almost never hear being mentioned is how to train your mind for success. There have been hundreds if not thousands of books written on this subject already and the area of personal development is a multi billion dollar industry.

The common denominator in almost every persons success is that they were successful in their mind first. This isn’t just some pie in the sky flaky notion of semi spirituality either. Mind training actually works and is the foundation of just about every truly successful person.

A big part of and one of the first things that needs to be done before even starting any money making venture, is to lay down a plan of action. This includes finding those reasons that you desire whatever it is that you seek.

Is it for money? Do you want fame? A big house? A nice new car? Maybe you wish to be highly respected? Are you trying to win someone’s love? Do you have a need to feel a sense of personal satisfaction? Is it to help people? Do you want freedom and to fire your boss? Do you just want to do something you love doing and get paid for it?

These are all questions that should at least be looked into. Success, as you’ll find by talking to any person who has achieved it, starts from within. You must want it with every cell of your being. You have to feel it and more importantly, KNOW it. Only after you’ve trained your mind, will you start to realize the fruits.

Now, something must be said at this point. You will never achieve what you seek if you don’t believe you can achieve it. Let me be very clear here. If you have a burning desire for success, but somehow, through years of negative training of your mind think you’ll never get it, there’s little chance of attaining what you seek.

You see, the universe will give you whatever you want if you just have a clear intention about it. And by that, I mean crystal clear. When you define your goals, be very specific. Don’t say, I want be rich and expect any real results. Instead say, I will have a balance of $63,284 in my account by November 23rd of this year. No clear intention means the universe has no idea of what to give you, and gives nothing in return.

Have you ever done a job for someone who says, “well, just do what you think”? How should you know if they want the room red, the car to have three wheels, the house to have flowers painted on it? You don’t. So instead of giving general instructions to the universe, be very specific. That’s the way the universe will give you ANYTHING you desire and your intention must be clear.

A couple of fantastic books to read that will clarify this further are called “Think and grow rich”, by Napolean Hill, and “The Secret”, by   Rhonda Byrne, which is also a movie now. In Napolean’s book, find the short poem, “I bargained with life for a penny”. This will have a profound effect on you, I promise.

So clarify and start manifesting the life you truly desire right now. The universe will comply once given specific instructions. Train your mind properly and you’ll attain anything you could possibly want in life whether it be fortune, fame, love or success.

Until next time, take care and have a great week.

  2. Hi Patrick,

I concur with Mandy, you have a very powerful tool within yourself for success if you tune it right!

    TTFN….Ed.

(Ed, exactly my point. We’re incredibly powerful and use our brains on such a minimal level that even the slightest effort to learn puts our brains into hyperdrive. Because of our connection, the universe starts creating our reality. We just have to give it the proper instructions. Take care)

  6. Patrick, I watched The Secret and it’s really awesome, I do agree with all the facts provided by the author that one has to stay positive in order to get what they want but I feel you’ve missed a point here to mention, just identifying goals won’t help. You’ve got to work on them as well for the universe to create ways for you and make the goal easier. But until unless you’re determined and focused on that goal for say like you want to have a big house, so if you solely rely on Universe to do it for you then you won’t go anywhere…Universe doesn’t give anything for free…you’ve to work hard to achieve it although it’ll definitely make the path real easy and favorable for you.

    Ryan,

While I do in fact agree with you here, my purpose for the article was this. Many people start out trying to take action before even having a clearly defined set of goals. Without those goals being specifically defined, one will never see any level of success. It’s like a ship trying to go somewhere without having a course. To get there, you have to have a direction to travel.
I appreciate you reading and commenting, even if you don’t totally agree with what’s said here. Still, one has to walk before running. That was the goal for this post, to get people focused on walking first. Thanks and stop by again soon. Take care. Patrick
